It is a phenomenon that often happens with “star” middle school athletes that occurs when they are thrown in with more talented group. They suddenly have an injury which gives them an excuse why they lost. They then have an “excuse” for no longer participating,thereby not
getting beat.
SO, what excuse will he use to stay home?
