Maybe his handlers really have been listening. Maybe even Mitt has. He's not in Massachusetts anymore. He's got to be responsive to what the majority of Americans need and want in a president.
If he really wants this job, he's also got to look at the peril our nation is in, and have the integrity to contemplate solutions that will honestly achieve concrete reforms. Those solutions are all conservative. There isn't a single liberal idea that's going to stop the nation from rolling toward the abyss.
Whatever liberal ideas he may have once entertained, will have to be cast to the wayside, if he wants to be a successful president.
Many people have feared that Mitt in his heart of hearts desires the kind of liberal agenda that he enabled in Massachusetts. Maybe that is so and maybe that is not, but few have gotten close enough to Mitt to truly tell.
Yet, I believe Mitt will be far more amenable to the wishes of larger America than Barack Obama would ever be. I say the clothespin noses have it.
