It is difficult for me to explain to my nine year old grandson...the depth of pride we used to have ....for being an American. How we loved our country. The respect we had for those in uniform.

Damn..I think that would score Romney some points..I mean in all seriousness, I think there are many people out there who would love to kick Obama’s ass

"The media is ALL in the tank, but I think when people watch the debate and see that Romney is not some boogeyman that the media has painted out to be it will help Romney a lot, no matter what BS the media says"
I agree. For many this will be the first time they've ever seen Mitt except through the media filter.

Funny, but Paul Ryan is definitely NOT an idiot.

I am more concerned with how Obama probably got the questions given to him beforehand, yeah yeah I know, its supposed to be questions that neither candidate knows in advance but I think we ALL know with this media they already gave it to Axelfraud

I feel like we are in court proceedings or something... --
Court is designed to be intimidating, it puts the judge and his minions in control of the flow of events. But the jury gets the last word.
Anyway, try to get over your nerves. There is only so much that one of us can do, and being nervous (for extended periods) is not good for your health, mental or physical.
I may or may not watch. If I was Romney, I'd play it straight, maybe have a few "keywords" or phrases that I think would get under Obama's skin as he sleeps ("Down Low" comes to mind). There are two more debates after this one.

I’d prefer dueling pistols but would settle for settling the matter pugilistically

I like to watch it C-Span, the screen isn’t full of graphics, like they have on Fox and other networks.

Paul Ryan is definitely NOT an idiot
I'll second that; Barack has definitely cornered the market in idiot running mates.
Now, the Ryan-Biden debate is definitely something to look forward to. Since John Kerry was the stand-in for Mitt, whom will Ryan use as a stand-in for Biden? Honey Boo-boo?

I was going to watch the debate on Fox News..so its better to watch it on CSPAN? --
The non-participant commentators get under my skin, so I prefer C-SPAN. Others may prefer to hear some running commentary; and the commentators (unfortunately) have a lot of influence on the public perception, so it's worth hearing their take, even if their take is based on falsehood or faulty logic.
Sometimes I channel surf (if I'm watching). MSNBC can be entertaining for its chutzpah.

OK, Romney, remember Obama has thin skin. Just show us you can get under it.
