I’ve been down that stretch of SI dozens of times. It is remote for being in an urban setting. They taped parts of Nightmare on Elm Street in that area.
I noticed fishermen coming and going all the time. I had wondered about how much illegal activity was going on there. Never considered weed since it was so soggy and tended to flood out in each good rain.
Agreed. Large areas in that part of the city are quite barren. It’s for damned sure one place you don’t want to get stuck in, especially after dark.
