Why do they have to have a camera to record what’s being thrown away?
Apparently it hasn’t occurred to them to just look in the can and see what’s there. If necessary, they can write it down.
Perhaps the district superintendent has a brother-in-law who sells cameras.
really
Because its technology and adding technology to a problem often substitutes for actually doing something about the problem. I would next expect a "trash cam" phone app that can be twittered, facebooked, googled, and youtubed ad neauseum.
Hey...it means jobs....worthless....but nevertheless....and because it’s attached to a computer....it’s an easy $100,000 a year for somebody who knows somebody
They probably can get federal matching funds to install trash cams. Think of the jobs it will create and whose brother-in-law/democrat donor/minority contractor will rake in millions for supplying and maintaining the equipment
made in China probably
Next - veggie police in our schools, trained by the TSA, and vegetable diversity training mandatory for all kids
More obamastimulus money down the toilet
The story says they need camaras to study what is being tossed, then it says the veggies are being tossed.
Why waste money on camera’s?
Is this the intelligence of school leaders?
Just assign a monitor to stand by the trash cans with a clipboard and evaluate whether the child has finished their vegetable medley sufficiently and if not, find out why not, record their names, and if a repeat offender, give them information as to why they should eat their vegetable medley along with their pig in a blanket and potato surprise.
