That compares with a 73,000 increase in the number of registered Republicans and an actual decline of 140,000 in registered Democrats.
They still lost 140,000 net.
Democrats have 200,000 less registered voters than in 2008 when they won. McCain lost by less than 200,000 and was a terrible candidate. Republicans have the enthusiasm this time too on their side and will have with a higher percentage turnout, while the dems turnout will be lower. Actually really reading between the lines should make you more hopeful for Florida.

Well, not good, but then you have to subtract all the decline in Dem voters from 08. So, probably, it’s a wash.
