A pregnant fourteen-year-old girl secretly delivered her baby with a pair of scissors in the family bathroom before throttling the boy to death and hiding the body in a shoe box.
Cassidy Goodison, 14, has been charged as an adult with first degree murder after police learned how she killed her child following months of fearfully disguising her pregnancy from her mother and father.
Her harrowing case has shocked even experienced officers and graphically illustrates the problems of the 750,000 teenage Americans who fall pregnant every year.
Goodison went into labor in her home in Greenbrier Village, Florida on September 19 and instead of calling for help, disguised her screams of pain by running the tap and gripping a towel between her teeth as she sat on the toilet....

Stories like this make me glad I am did not go into police work. I could not deal with investigating this kind of thing and stay normal.

OK, evil society sort'a accepts sexual awareness at an early age and even promotes it's practice in any form.
But has the word and concept of "abortion" become so commonplace in a young child's mind that it is just done as a matter of routine?
I can't get my head around this.
After prising the 9.5lb boy from her body with a pair of scissors, she felt for a pulse and then strangled the boy to death and hid his corpse in a shoe box with dirty laundry.
Three days later, as Teresa Goodson cleaned her daughter's room, a foul odour drew her attention to a pile of soiled, wet clothes in which she found the deceased infant hidden in a box.
An autopsy performed determined the victim was a full term infant and that he was alive and breathing prior to death. He died as a result of asphyxia from strangulation and blunt force trauma.
I don’t see ONE word about the father, either.

This girl lives 5 miles from my home. This town is in shock that a girl would do this to her own baby. The Mother’s denial of this child’s pregnancy is beyond words. Life is so taken for granted by people, it is hard to get your head around it! I just keep thinking that we are born in the image of God. We are all unique but still born with His blessing.
As a society we are a failure by allowing our children to sink to this level.
Pray for God’s mercy.
How could she hide being pregnant? She doen’t look that big.
Her big mistake, of course, was that she didn’t get the local Planned Parenthood killing center to help her exterminate her own flesh and blood. Then everything would have been just peachy. “Legal” even. And shoot, if she lived in Massachusetts, under Romneycare, the taxpayers would have had the privilege of paying the hit man.
God have mercy on us.

As cold as this sounds, she could have sold that baby for thousands to a couple wanting children. At least the kid would be alive....
I got out of the Army in 72 and worked 5 1/2 years with the Sheriff’s Department. Twice in that time I had to work cases on abandoned newborns. One was found in a suitcase in an old house out in the county that teens were known to party at, the other was found in a roadside dumpster. In both cases we never found the mother.

In the end, whether it's done in a upscale Planned Parenthood office or locked bathroom, same thing in this girls mind.
I'm sorry but that has to affect your head....
Yet if she had let an abortion doctor do it for her, we would instead be celebrating her "right to choose". To paraphrase Obama, 'just because she made the mistake of killing her baby, she shouldn't be punished with a criminal trial'.
I agree that the emphasis should now be on locating the father of the baby, and nailing him to the side of a barn.
The state of Florida could also create a very interesting legal precedent by stating that, while the girl was competent before the crime, the crime itself has made her mentally incompetent, so that during her juvenile sentence she will receive psychiatric care.
This is so that, when she turns eighteen, it will be up to the psychiatrist to determine if she can be released, or if she must face further psychiatric confinement after being transferred to an adult psychiatric institution.
Now, if she’d been in Illinois, thanks to then-State Senator Barack Obama, she’d only be facing charges for being an unlicensed abortionist.

That’s exactly what it is.
I really dislike words like abortion and euthanasia and the people that use them to cover up for what is actually killing and murder.
