Sadly, it makes no never mind whether EVERY single American Jew was to see this enlightening and informative narrative, as a recent poll indicates, most don't worry or are not that concerned about the safety or survival of Israel; it was 4th on a list of what they consider "important."

Moreover, the majority of Jews in the US are staunch LIBS and (almost) nothing is going to change a RAT's fealty towards their party, no matter what.

History has shown us that the majority of Jews in America rate concern for Israel pretty far down on their list of concerns.
I would guess it's around #25 - right after cat hairballs.
American Christians and Mormons show more concern for Israel than do most Jews.

History also shows that Jews are one of the most reliable democrat voting blocs.

That's some of the bad news.
One piece of not-so-bad-news news is that with a few exceptions, the US Jewish population is concentrated in liberal states that vote heavily democrat, so the impact of their vote is minimized.

The most notable exception and the state where the Jewish vote makes a big impact is Florida which has become a swing state. Not only does Florida have a high resident Jewish population, but many Jews from northern states have second homes or winter in Florida and intentionally vote in Florida because they know it can make a big difference. (not to mention the double voters)

According to 2011 estimates there are about 6.6 million Jewish citizens in the US. That equals about 2.1 % of the population.

The entire world Jewish population is estimated at only slightly more than 13 million.

There are only two countries in the world with more than 1 million Jewish residents - Israel and the USA. The third largest is France with less than 1/2 million Jews.

It is now estimated there are more Jews residing in the USA than in Israel.
That would make the USA Jewish population the largest in the world.

According to current estimates there are about 5,978,600 Jews in Israel.
That number is expected to grow to 6,000,000 by the end of 2012.

The current estimate of the Jewish population in the USA is about 6,588,000.
USA Today and others report that the USA Jewish population is dropping but other studies do not agree with that assessment.

It is startling how few Jews there are, yet how large they loom in world affairs.

I am always amazed that 1 billion muslims and millions of other anti-semites around the world spend their entire lives obsessing over 13 million Jews - a miniscule percentage of the world population.

In that respect I see muslims as the Wiley Coyote component of the world population, endlessly cooking up plots and Rube Goldberg (no pun intended) schemes to wipe out the Jews. Yes, but in many cases, Jews are their own worst enemies. Throughout our history, we have danced around the golden calf on many occasions.

There are stories about Jews who escaped the Nazi death camps and returned to their old neighborhoods to warn their fellow Jews about what the Nazis had in store for them.
