In a letter addressed to Greek Prime Minister Antonis Samaras, his fellow coalition leaders -- PASOKs Evangelos Venizelos and Democratic Lefts Fotis Kouvelis -- Justice Minister Antonis Roupakiotis and Finance Minister Yannis Stournaras, six judges and prosecutors associations have claimed that the proposed cuts in their salaries and pensions devised by the government are unconstitutional.
Judges and magistrates have been staging a series of rolling work stoppages in recent weeks, while administrative judges have said they will extend their industrial action until October 5.
The judges and prosecutors would probably win if they took their case to court.
Does the Greek constitution provide the money to pay them? I think a few rubber checks might be explanation enough.
ridiculous.
that country is in total denial about being broke
like Kalpornia
Pay them in IOU’s
Are these people saying salaries and pensions national debt? If not, then what compels legislators to budget for the payment? And if they are saying it is then that they saying all national debt is equal?
AHh, the run for other people’s money continues.
Hussein ought to tell them to share the wealth.
Well done to that establishment. The commies push the country into the arms of the National Socialists. It’s all happening again.
lol.
