Within 24 hours, the White House knew the assault on our Libyan consulate was a terrorist attack, yet a president who has no time for intelligence briefings sent his minions out to say it was just a movie.
Five days before U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice went on the Sunday talk shows to say Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed at the hands of a spontaneous mob inflamed by a months-old film trailer insulting Islam that few had seen, U.S. intelligence sources knew the attack was planned and organized.
We believe President Obama also knew, or should have known, despite missing more than half his national intelligence briefings before the attack and those immediately afterward as he jetted to a Las Vegas fundraiser while our consulate still smoldered.
Fox News announced Thursday that intelligence sources confirmed the intelligence community knew by Sept. 12 that the militant Ansar al-Shariah and al- Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb were probably behind the strike.
"No one," a source told Fox News, "believed that the mortars, indirect and direct fire, and the RPGs (rocket-propelled grenades) were just the work of a mob — no one."
Yet Obama sent forth Rice to tell NBC News on Sept. 16 that "putting together the best information that we have available to us today, our current assessment is that what happened in Benghazi was, in fact, initially a spontaneous reaction to what had just transpired hours before in Cairo; almost a copycat of — of the demonstrations against our facility in Cairo, which were prompted, of course, by the video."

lazy liar is just the coverup. Obama is naive and not concerned about American security. Why is he lax on security? It’s because of his idealogy and affinity for muslims that lead him to believe they were his friends and wouldn’t attack HIM.

Also learns there was no movie protest in Benghazi prior to the terrorist attack on the embassy.
He also learns the terrorist ambushed the safe house where the ambassador was taken.
Obama had all this information and decided to lie the American people. ...Repeatedly! ...Even to a U.N. Assembly.
What an embarrassment for this county!

Its sort of conspiratorial/tinfoil but these days todays tinfoil seems to be tomorrows news. Take it for what its worth. Maybe something maybe nothing.
Long story short. The ambassador and staff were set up as part of a wag the dog scenario for political points before the debates. An attack was set up with low level AQ contractors for a hostage taking and resulting SEAL rescue with the consulate staff rescued and the hostage takers taking a dirt nap. Obama gets to play the hero and all is well in the world going into the first debates. The problem was the AQ boys higher-ups got wind of the OP and compromised the low level guys by buying them out for more money and the OP goes from hostage taking to all out kill/burn and send a message to BO and company not to get out of line. The OP goes down and the AQ guys are ecstatic. They now have major blackmail intell on OB/Jarret/Axelrod etc. They are on their cellphones chatting back and forth.
Panneta & Petraues quickly know AQ was involved. Cleaner teams ( Delta?) are sent in to mop up and send a message back to AQ to mind their P & Q. It all reads like a Tom Clancy novel but can explain the curious reactions of OB/Hillary and company. OB is scared and goes silent. The FBI is kept in check. The Rats only want to investigate after the election. The disjointed response from the WH. The embassy in Beirut quickly burning classified material etc.

Why? Not the movie, that's a red herring. They were looking into the Manpads that are floating around, supposedly 20K or more. Only 5K were accounted for.
Stevens went by himself or with Sean Smith looking for ManPads.....I know they are weapons but explain what they are and how big they are......please.
I think it was a Carter type bungle. I find it strange that 30 plus people escaped yet the ambassador was found separated from the group and dead. I think it was a kidnap attempt on the ambassador to put pressure on the administration to release the blind sheik. Rescue attempt went really bad, leaving the ambassador dead. I want to hear from the 30+ people who were rescued and from the rest of the team sent in to rescue them. No way it was only the 2 ex seals.

Say in your town, you have a neighbor running for office who decides to help out your local bank executive who is down on his luck by staging a fake bank robbery, whereby both will get something out of it......in the politician in fake rescue and the exec in “misplaced money” the not caught robbers got away with. They bring the local cops in for a cut, and all is going as planned.
Ok, now as these two are plotting, some local mafia overhear some donut eaters discussing this.
The mafia thugs report this to their boss, who is paying off some higher up cops, who all decide that, “You know I don't like small timers coming into my action and not cutting me in. Let's say we shoot these bastards and take all the money”.
So the exec and politco show up for the drama with the cops, and who shows up but, a herd of mafia and donut eater brass, who take the money bags from the shocked duo, shoot them, and file the reports of “some of the robbers got away with the money”, and the don then launders the cash and all are happy, except Anderson Cooper.
