In the southeast Michigan town of Roseville, there will be a dig of a driveway to see if there's a body buried underneath it, and utlimately, if it's the remains of missing Teamsters union-boss Jimmy Hoffa, according to Granite Broadcasting sister station MyTV20 News.
According to the report from MyTV20 News:
Police have used ground-penetrating radar and discovered an anomoly under a driveway pavement that could be the remains of a body buried there some 35 years ago - around the time that Hoffa disappeared.
Read the press release from the Roseville, Michigan police department:
"Roseville Police Investigate Possible Cold Case Homicide " The Roseville Police Department received information that we believe to be credible about a homicide victim whose body was interred in Roseville approximately 35 years ago. As a result of this information Roseville Police Detectives working with the Michigan State Police Crime Lab used a ground penetrating radar to search the area in question looking for ground anomalies. The radar did find an anomaly in the area in which the source of information claimed the body to be located. (A ground penetrating radar can detect an anomaly under the earth but cannot tell you what that anomaly is) .
Because the anomaly is located under a concrete slab, this Friday, Roseville Detectives working in conjunction with a Forensic Pathologist from Michigan State University will have a core sample taken of the area in question in an attempt to ascertain if human remains are present. We are taking this course of action to minimize the amount of damage done to the current home owners property if the sample tested is negative for human remains.
The complainant in this matter felt that remains interred if there any, maybe those of Jimmy Hoffa, he is making this assumption as the event may have taken place on or near the day Mr. Hoffa disappeared. The Roseville Police Investigation is centering solely on the assumption that a John Doe may have been interred and not Jimmy Hoffa. We are proceeding on this case as we would on any other investigation in which we believe we have credible information to conduct an investigation."
And Pauly’s shoe.
nope not Lord Fox... it was called Machus Red Fox.. I used to live right across the street and was even living there when he disappeared. 15 mile (Maple Rd) and Telegraph Rd... I lived on Country Club Dr... Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
How did you know that? Somebod’s hacked into my TOP SECRET files!
I hear that one before
Did some Mobster said once Jimmy Hoffa was goal post at Giant Stadium in NJ LOL Too
I much prefer following the recovering of the remains of King Richard III!
Maybe they can sell the formerly famous woodchipper on Ebay?
Highly unlikely, and also illogical.
Too obvious, too easy to confirm.
Whoever killed him didn't want the body found. It would make more sense for someone with 'construction workers' connections to have it buried under a fresh driveway in a new housing area. The kind that are empty at night.
Why would anyone think they’d have left a body at all?
Your lips to God’s ears, man. Only keep going after that first 1000.
.
I doubt that any professional hitman would put a body under a driveway for the simple reason that driveways get dug up from time to time.
I’m sure that a high-profile corpse like Hoffa’s would have been reduced to worm-sized bites mucho pronto. And the hitmen probably too, unless they were very reliable Made Men.
Traditionally, they leave bodies....Maybe the Catholic in them. I was born and raised in Rochester NY....Nice old mob town....
OHH I have hear of that story about Richard 3 I think that story they still doing DNA result I think it is him we may find out soon they still doing study on it right now we may not for months from now
UK Papers really geek up on that story for couple weeks
Yes, they think his remains have been found. The skeleton shows signs of scoliosis which proves what his contemporaries said: that his one shoulder was higher than the right.
