Actually, if the terrorists had seen Marines at the Consulate they would not have attacked to begin with.
Now we find out the former SEALS weren't even part of the protective detail. They were State Dept. "contractors" who pitched in when the consulate was attacked.
The truth is out there somewhere, but you won't get it from the WH.
I have no way of knowing if the journal was a plant or not. If it was in his handwriting, that would be easy to determine.
