Unfortunately he is much too far over the head, intellectually, of the average voter.

That is so true. I don't believe the average American is capable of understanding a Rush monologue, or the simplest Thomas Sowell economics 101 column. And we no longer educate our children, so I have no idea how we get out of this situation. A good indicator of the intellect of our population is to look at the intellectual level of the typical TV ad. The TV ad people know the intellectual level of Americans very well.

Ahem..... I believe you meant to say "some people" no longer educate their children. I certainly did and the majority of homeschool parents are educating their children.... (but I get your point - government schools...)

Government schools and universities exist for indoctrination, not education.
