I have a Touch. I have read more books in the past 5 months than during any other 12 months in my life. I get free $25 Amazon gift cards thru my bank, and I simply download on free wifi and I’m on my way. I love Kindle.

Probably a little off-topic, but what do you all think of the new, bigger Kindle Fire? Especially vs. iPad?

Have a Touch also. Love it! lost interest in reading about 10 years ago with the onset of undiagnosed apnea and eyes getting worse. Now with apnea under control and a cataract removed I'm back to reading using my Kindle Touch. Also a prime member and love the advantages of that.
Reread all my Clancy favorites plus caught myself up to date with his newer tales. Now going to reread Vince Flynn and catch up with him.

Agreed, yea, hard to comprehend how powerful it is. The little things are wonderful too, footnotes, buying, text to speech...The tv only does on when something great is on.
What's some of your best reads?

My husband has an iPad for work... I use it once in awhile, but not every day. I don't own a Kindle.
This may be a stupid question: If you have an iPad do you need a Kindle? Thanks...
