It would seem that recording was illegal and if so the person who made the recording should be prosecuted.

....was it really Jimmy Carter’s grandson?

Florida is a two-party consent state...so to legally record at this function, either Romney/staff or event hosts had to consent before any audio recording.
No consent = Law was broken.
You can video record without consent in Florida, but not audio

I am fairly certain that pursuing this idea would only make matters worse.

And just who is going to do that?
Holder and the U.S. In-Justice Department?
The Cowardly GOP House?
I would not hold my breath.
To: Olog-hai
Whoever recorded it, God bless him. IT'S THE TRUTH. And economically disastrous government dependency vs. healthy free enterprise is a good, strong argument.
What Mitt needs to do is reach out to those 47% dependent on government because there are certainly a fair % that don't want to be on welfare - he can reach those people.

I’ll be darned-——so the law was broken.
I hope it’s pursued but I won’t hold my breath.

There are no laws that apply to Democrats.

“Holder and the U.S. In-Justice Department?
The Cowardly GOP House?”
Being that we are talking about a state law, Holder and the House GOP would have no power in the matter.
However. A Florida prosecutor would have such power.
To: Olog-hai
Didn't you get the memo?
Anything that's beneficial to libs - legal.
Anything that's detrimental to libs - illegal.
Pretty simple, really.

Figures, loser: Jimmy Carters Grandson Helped Spread Romney Video
September 18, 2012 According to the article, this is his Twitter account: Oppo researcher; political junkie; news sponge; policy wonk. Currently looking for work
Seriously, give me a project. Atlanta, GA More details at the Daily Intel. Losers and apples never fall far from the tree. Credited as a research assistant on the story is James Carter IV, the grandson of former President Jimmy Carter, who has been toiling online as an opposition researcher and is currently looking for work, according to his Twitter bio. Ive been searching for clips on Republicans for a long time, almost every day, said Carter this evening. I just do it for fun. But by connecting Corn with the mysterious uploader of the clip, Carter has uncovered his biggest story yet, one that could potentially affect the outcome of the election. (And get him a job.) http://riehlworldview.com/2012/09/figures-loser-jimmy-carters-grandson-helped-spread-romney-video.html

THAT was what I was wondering about. Thanks for the information. Obviously, someone has broken the law again. If it was Obama up there talking, you can bet the state controlled “media” would be throwing a tantrum right now.

That’s what I heard — Jimmy Carter III or IV. (Can you drool and operate a video camera at the same time?)

I heard ABC radio news pose this question to a law professor who said there should be no problem for the leaker so there!
