Fox News ^

The latest mandate handed down from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is so ridiculous, even I was shocked. The EPA has now mandated how much gasoline you must buy at certain gas stations. Say hello to the Obama Administrations four gallon minimum.

You may want to consider not putting E15 or E20 Fuel into your motorcycles gas tank and stick with the E10 that will still be available with no minimum purchase. For how long? This is just another small cut in the effort to bleed us out.

There is no way we can survive as a free nation without a great Killing. No one has the moral courage for that. Yeah, yeah......anyone who does start an insurrection will be vilified, and by many on this site.

Allow me to throw in a metaphor here that's been happening since the 20's and has
been accelerated since the 80's and now it's in hyper-drive.
The Government has been pushing every so often to guage sentiment about how
far they can take our freedoms to give more power and control to the Government.
The key here is incremental as many here already know. They'll slap us with
some outrageous ideal about say "One Mile" then settle for 100-yards, and America
goes back to work and ignores the 100-yards thinking wow, it would've been much worse.
Well, it is much worse because over the decades that 100-yards has added up to 500 miles
and we keep clunking down the road on flat tires happy that the last round of control didn't
just rip our wheels off.
America is running out of gas to keep up with the 500-mile journey this generation.
The next generation will have to give up their money and freedom to keep us going
and the Gov will keep adding 100-yards every year we stop taking notice.
The end game will place America into third world status and dictatorship.

I know some hard core bikers who carry this: http://fuelmedics.com/
I personally don’t. I haven’t had a problem with the E10 I encounter. I haven’t seen any of these higher grade gasolines at the pump yet.

100LL is definitely illegal for use in anything with a catalytic converter, but I assume its OK for engines without.
None of my OPE, including my Polaris ATV has a converter.

So this is not an airline fuel? I thought you were joking!
I think most cars built after 2000 have catalytic converters because it was just cheaper to put them in all rather than cater to the states that required them.

Yes 100LL is for piston engined aircraft.
100 octane low lead.

Actually almost all cars built since the late 70s/early 80s have cats.

( * The EPA approved E15 for sale in the U.S. using a partial waiver, meaning it is only approved for some vehicles on the road cars 2001 and later. * ) ... there you go folks, that is the motive and reason for Cash for Clunkers..... someone is lining their pockets with money... and it sure ain’t us.

" Or the guy who ran out of gas and only has a two gallon gas can? "
Or people running out of gas on a dangerous highways, roads, or neighborhoods.
I can see a lot of lawyers lining up if someone get's hurt with this.

I remember times when gas was $ 1.00 and I had 89 cents to put in the tank just enough to get home.

Occasionally I see a smart car on my way to work, usually the same woman driving. That is a scary vision of the future they have planned for us, driving those toy cars.

I've also been there, and a couple days ago I was behind a guy at the local Stop & Rob who wanted "$10 on pump 3." Just in case the dense dictator-wannabees in the Fauxbama administration can't do simple math, $10 isn't going to buy 4 gallons of gas (or milk, for that matter - thanks a Shiite-load for both, you f'ing morons!).
I'd say, "Phuck'em!" FYI, next time I buy gas, I'm going to get 3.5 gallons repeatedly, until I've filled up my car.
I know, I remember when $10 got you at least half a tank, not anymore. B-(
