Boston TV stations are wall-to-wall Osama Obama ads.I've seen only a few Romney ads.On the hopeful side, the 2010 results in NH was basically a clean sweep...both Commie Rats sent packing ...Senate,Republican..State Legislature, the Republicans cleaned House...and Senate.
“I live in a neighboring state to NH. While watching the NFL yesterday on a station whose broadcast reaches into NH, I saw several obnoxious Obamugabe ads but ZERO Romney ads”
Ditto here in southern VA. I haven’t seen a Romney ad in two weeks. If he somehow thinks he has Virginia in the bag, he smoking something powerful. Obama’s pouring ad money into VA like never before. Romney must be employing some grand strategy I’m not seeing, but it seems he’d better pick up the pace soon.
I really hope you’re right. This is all so depressing. After everything Obama has done to destroy this country that there are so many stupid enough to vote him back in again. And stupid is the only word for them.
I’d crawl on my knees over two miles of broken glass to vote for Romney/against Obama.Just the sight of Obama or sound of his voice disgusts me. I’m going to pray every night for God to save us from another four years or America is finished.
Even if we don’t have Wisconsin, the fact that it’s a battleground is amazing. Didn’t Obama win it by 18% last time out?
... and, as always, the mighty, mighty Mr. Silverback swoops in and easily scores the coveted gold in the fiercely contested "Reading for Baseline Comprehension" competition! ;)
I, meanwhile, think were going to win this thing. But Im not going to bitch and argue about it.
Actually, I myself have vacillated numerous times, re: whether Mittens can/will win in '12, or no. YES, he ought to, based solely on The Won's deplorable record, alone; NO, on the other hand, given the McCain 2.0 nature of his campaign, thus far. I won't end up shell-shocked, either way. ;)
Good point. We have now heard from three critical markets (New Hampshire, Northern Virginia, and Ohio) that Romney is still not running ads. How about spending some money, Mitt?
Be fair, though: my bump-and-grind rendition of Rebecca Black's "It's Friday!" KILLED. ;)
"Good analysis. Thanks."
lol
Well, you’ve got to get down on Friday. Says so in the song and everything.
Lovely and Intelligent Wife stolidly insists that an early proto-version of it was utilized in the torture of American POWs, during the 'Nam. ;)
If Romney wins Pennsylvania he will certainly win Ohio but he might easily win Ohio without Pennsylvania. It is conceivable that Romney could win Pennsylvania and lose Virginia, if Romney can make an issue of energy which he has unaccountably failed properly to do.
I fear you might be right about the Hail Mary strategy I believe it would be a terrible mistake. It is very difficult to change people's minds to reverse their opinions after they are formed, especially if they have expressed their opinions publicly. It is much easier and therefore much cheaper to win the contest in the first place.
It seems there are two ways to view the debates. Normally, the challenger who is on the right side of all the data need only look presidential in order to win the debate because the undecideds are auditioning the challenger to fill the role of commander-in-chief, they having already decided the incumbent should not be returned if a viable alternative can be found.
Second, if Romney, however, enters the debates behind he will be under tremendous pressure to win in order to restore his campaign and that will be almost impossible because the media will make it impossible. The narrative will be that he has lost.
Missouri a toss-up?
MI doesn’t make any sense because yesterday someone post an article from RCP that only had Obama up by 2
So, Joan Baez wrote it?
You know, Rebecca Black actually does kinda look like a younger version of Little Red Baez, come to think. Hmmmmmmmmm... ;)
Marco Rubio is in Ohio today, speaking at the State Capitol - ahead of zero’s visit. So, there are many out there campaigning. I haven’t seen too many Romney ads lately - is he waiting until October to unleash his barrage? Makes me wonder what is going on.
My sense is that if Romney wins either Wisconsin or Michigan, then he wins the election. He can’t have that kind of appeal and not win Ohio. I don’t see him able to win Wisc and not winning MI and vice versa. If he gets one, then he gets the other.
Winning Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin definitely puts Pennsylvania in play.
If he’s able to pick off Michigan, then its curtains for Obama. That would mean that Obama’s being rejected.
Every day someone is making up their minds and with early voting, ads are really important, even Romney's weak ads...they are better than nothing.
At least Obama is good at something, which is campaigning. Romney has got to step it up. I don't think Obama can win this election, but Romney can lose it.
If Black and her parents sue you, leave me out of it.
I’ll make certain the blame falls squarely on either Erick Erickson or Jennifer Rubin. Evidently, they’re the officially designated scapegoats for today. ;)
