If Romney was down 6-8 in WI then why would Obama be going there?

I was going to post a response to MNJohnnie about how much his posts were like listening to a broken record screeching out “you don’t agree with me so you must be a troll.”

I regret to inform you that MNJohnnie is apparently no longer with us. He seems to have ridden the lightning.

because 6-8 is close. When you consider that 3.5-4 is the standard MOE, then we’re only talking a few points difference EVEN IF it really is 6-8 in the polls.

6-8 in the polls is the difference a bad weather day could make if it just happened that some supporters were sure of themselves and stayed home due to over-confidence.

Didn’t Johnnie get warned last week to take it easy on the personal attacks? I think the words left open the possibility of a time-out instead of an eviction.

Wonder which it was? Ban or suspension?

“MNJohnnie got the zot?”

Looks that way. In times like this, I guess it’s appropriate to compose a eulogy to honor his contributions to this website.

A eulogy for MNJohnnie:

Friends, we are gathered here today to mourn the passing of yet another FReeper who went up against the mods, the boss, and the rules of this website and received his final reward in zotdom.

Rare indeed is the FReeper who can make us miss the rationality, the moderation, and the politeness of pissant. But MNJohnnie was just one of those FReepers who gave his all to the cause of single minded zealotry.

MNJohnnie, if you can hear us, we hope that your transgressions will be forgiven, that your suspension will be brief, and that someday you will rejoin the brethren of FReepers.

But not before say November 15th.

I think it was a time-out that was warned about. Personally, I hope it’s not permanent. Vicious bugger that he is, it was kind of entertaining to know that MNJohnnie would be there on any willard thread, spitting his vitriol. It was kind of like watching a trailer-park version of MacBeth: insults and epithets amounting to nothing.

Good post. We don’t see any ads here in MA. I’m surprised his ads are so unfocused.

Johnnie was the Jean Calvin of the Romney threads.

He’ll be sorely missed.... Not.

He was too stupid to realize that JR is one of those Freepers who he referred to as CREEP0’s. Not smart.

Lessee...

I agree with Ras on the hussein score of 243...except for NH, which I think is closer to a tossup as it’s willards home state. So make husseins score 239.

For willard, I agree with the score of 196.

To which I add to willards score:

MO - 10
VA - 13
FL - 29

I think he gets both FL and VA...and an ironic 248.

The rest are too close to call in my view.

On election night, watch FL and VA. If they go hussein, it’s over for willard. If not, it’ll be decided in the midwest.

It makes no sense how WI voters could reject the recall of Scott Walker and then turn around and vote for Obama

They do it all the time.. Voters in blue states will elect a GOP Governor to fix their mess locally, but will then turn around and inflict a socialist President on the rest of us.

Look at NJ,MA,MI,PA,MN,etc..All blue states that have elected GOP governors in the last 10yrs or so, yet vote for a commie Pres..

I was going to post a response to MNJohnnie about how much his posts were like listening to a broken record screeching out “you don’t agree with me so you must be a troll.”

Once every week or so, he would start shrieking and blubbering at me like a coked-out howler monkey, to the effect that I was (direct quote) "a progressive fascist"; and that I was (somehow) being "emotion-based" by unfailingly responding to him with bland, infinite calmness that -- if he really, truly felt that way -- JimRob would almost certainly appreciate receiving proof of said assertion, and act accordingly upon receipt of same.

Thankfully, I've already raised a child from infancy to happy, healthy adulthood, so I know how to handle messy public tantrums on the part of huffy FReeper-come-latelies. ;)

Didn’t Johnnie get warned last week to take it easy on the personal attacks? I think the words left open the possibility of a time-out instead of an eviction.

Wonder which it was? Ban or suspension?

Yes, he did; and -- in lieu of any hard'n'fast "well, bye" on the part of JimRob -- I'm assuming the latter (but would be infinitely pleased by the much-needed airing out from which FR would immediately and inarguably benefit, if the former). ;)

Rare indeed is the FReeper who can make us miss the rationality, the moderation, and the politeness of pissant. But MNJohnnie was just one of those FReepers who gave his all to the cause of single minded zealotry.

He's the Team Mittens equivalent of an Obama Zombie: idolizing a ordinary, mortal human being as if a genuine deity, worthy of obsequiousness and servile worship. With his sophistry and abusiveness, he actively pushes fence-sitters away from his chosen messiah... and, tragically, isn't even self-aware enough to realize it.
