Serbian diplomat, and friend of Christopher Stevens, says State Department knowingly sent gay ambassador to Libya.
Arab media says ambassador Stevens was gang raped and then his body was put on display.

You both have really good points. It is also so hard for me to wrap my mind around anyone sending someone into a situation that is sure death.

Most people don’t think about these things because they do not want to believe that such a thing exist outside Hollywood movies.

I think this article is silly. Obama and Hillary FAILING to ensure these people were properly guarded and protected is abhorrent, no need to add this chit to it. No need to give the homosexuals another *center of attention* moment.
Stevens was the American representative to the Transitional National Council in Benghazi during the revolution, in Libya. Benghazi was the capital of rebel-held Libya during the uprising to oust Qaddafi. Stevens ran the office in Benghazi during the revolt. He was appointed Ambassador in Jan of this year.
He had already served 2 tours in Libya. He apparently loved that area of the world and the people. I suspect he was homosexual but I have not seen anything on the net or videos of the Ambassador using his sexuality to define himself. He appears to have loved his job.
He and the others weren’t properly protected in a volatile and unstable area of the world. With several days of advance warning/information that there may be greater dangers/planned attacks and STILL no reinforcements on 9/11! Meanwhile, Valerie Jarret had her little vacation surrounded by Secret Service!!! Disgusting!

I guess I just don’t want this to turn into a homosexual story. Most homosexuals nowadays love nothing more than to be in the spotlight and they will use this to grab that spotlight if they can, I have no doubt.
I don’t know much about the Ambassador other than it appears he loved his work and made a career of it. From what I have read, he seems to have done well with his job and was very capable. He earned his position.
I would hate to see a career he worked so hard at to be overshadowed by his sexuality. He died serving this country and I would like to honor him for that. I don’t want the homosexuals or others to drag his name and sexuality around on parade as his body was in death.
I have not read or heard anything that shows him to be like I’m gay, I’m gay, I’m gay Barney Frank. Now, if we learn that the Ambassador was an abusive pedo or something—then I would be all down with dragging his name and sexuality all over Hades.
Bush sent a homosexual ambassador to Romania. That was a sensitive post for a gay man because of the orphan problem and the pressure to send the orphans off to be adopted outside the country, no doubt including to gay couples. Fortunately, that did not happen.
But why do we send homosexuals off to represent our interests in countries that are not a pro-gay as ours? Doesn’t make sense.
Of course the Stevens appointment was much worse.

I think somewhere there was a send-off/congratulatory dinner where someone was proud of sending a gay guy out to the front lines in “diplomacy” and there are people worried that will get out to everyone.
