Good evening, Mac...*HUGS*...my Dad brought me his military folder this afternoon. WOW! I’m really enjoying reading some of his writings. I have found what I think is discharge paperwork, but on cursory inspection do not see a form that says DD-214. Gonna google it and see what it looks like.

I need to get busy typing what he’s written and getting it saved.

Kathy - they didn't have DD-214 in WWII. I'm looking at my uncle's separation form - it was a WD AGO Form - can't quite make out the number - think it's 55.
