Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi refused to even entertain the idea of working with Mitt Romney to solve the nations problems on Sunday.
Why? Because Mitt Romneys not going to be President of the United States, she told CNNs Candy Crowley, bursting out into laugher. I think everybody knows that, right?

Your map is a crock of * and so are you.
There’s an old rule in football that says when your opponent is running the wrong way, stay out of his way! Thanks Nancy! I’m looking forward to seeing your touchdown dance in your own end zone.
AWESOME!
Nothing signals victory for Republicans more than a Pelosi prediction...
Pelosi in 2010 ...

On the Sunday morning show Bill Kristol got it right: he said you get nowhere being timid and silent.
Romney has one last chance. Needs to grow a set now, or the country goes down at the hands of an African terrorist.
Ain't just me, smart guy. Everyone asking themselves why this guy's playing defense.
AHAHAHAHA ...
NC is a tossup with Romney 10 pts ahead?
But NM is a lean Dem with Obama at 45% in last poll?
The map is a joke, but its correct on one thing.
It doesnt show either candidate with the electoral votes to win. It aint over til the voting is over.
Romney stood firm when he said we should not apologize for our values and the media hyenas tried to take him down over it.
“The clown is toast. This was the Carter Moment and he blew it. “
If you are referring to Obama’s week, you are correct.
Carter moment indeed. Didnt protect embassies, screwed up Egypt, blaming a movie and throwing the 1st amendment under the bus. Obama’s not getting above 46-47% in any poll, for a reason ... 53% of voters won’t go near him.
When it’s all said and done, Romney by 4 to 6.
Better bring a bigger gavel Nan...
One of the reasons that I do not like Romney is the fear that he will give Democrats enough of what they want and not what the USA needs....
But I was on this forum during the entire McCain debacle with lots of people telling me the polls were wrong.
In certain cases that was true. But one thing stuck out in the end: in large part they was not true. The polls were closer then people thought, including the ones we all think are intentionally skewed.
Like I said, he can turn it around. I personally don't think Pennsylvania is a lost cause and that's a big number.
Believe what you want. But it ain't just me. With 19% real unemployment, gas at $4 a gallon, the middle east coming apart, Americans getting dead...it shouldn't even be close.
Lots of people on our side pointing all that out.
1. It shouldn’t be close, yes, but you have a biased media, a celeb-dripped culture, and now a ‘rally around the flag’ following a DNC bump.
2. Many of us want more teeth, guts, and hardhitting attacks from Romney campaign, rather than the overly subtle stuff that isnt moving voters. Romney isnt doing a bad campaign (not as bad as McCain or Dole), but its not a great one. Its not Bush in ‘88 or Reagan in ‘80 great.
3. I’m not going to say the polls are totally wrong. I rely on Ras and his latest are actually rather a downer. Romney up only 1. But its 47-46. The undecideds are really indies who dont know Romney. This poll standing is a ‘Romney’s to lose’ position.
4. A close race, but the ‘Obama is ahead’ meme is media-bias BS, and that the polls are skewed a bit to favor Obama, and that includes Nate Silver and the RCP prognostications. This is not unique to 2012. You go back to 1996 and the last polls overstated Clinton’s lead by 7 pts. Kerry was ahead in some sept/oct 2004 polls, etc.
I am not saying Romney’s a cinch to win. This is still a close race. What I am telling you is he will do what’s needed to make the choice clear enough and the voters will do what they did in 2010. If we can see objectively how badly Obama has done, why dont more see it? I guess I Have some hope and faith that the American people arent all so stupid as to re-elect this charlatan who has delivered a lousy economy, damaged fiscal situation and a divided nation.
We shall see.
I’ve become more and more convinced every day that Pelosi is having serious “senior moments” that are getting worse and worse.
Since she’s in a “safe” district in SF, and will probably be re-elected (by people who agree with her), she will have lost more and more power when more and more Repubs infiltrate the House and also the Senate.
Poor thing!!
