IMHO, this guy Nakoula is in as much danger in custody as he would be on the lam. Fact of the matter is, he is probably in possession of information that would be extremely embarassing to the Obama administration. For example, if this is a wag the dog scenario, it is highly likely that some Obama operative will be linked to this guy and was behind getting the guy to make the film. Besides being a disgusting, criminal act, Obama would have been hoping that the riots would simply change the topic from the hideous state of the economy and give Obama a chance to make some of his famous bloviating speeches about his firm resolve to bring about world peace, brotherhood of mankind, yadda, yadda, yadda. The MSM’s would go into full swoon mode (as if they haven’t already) and there would be a general hue and cry for everyone to get behind the president at a time of danger.
The large-scale naval exercises in the Persian Gulf are the next forum for wagging the dog. I would not be surprised to see some kind of “incident”, perhaps a skirmish with Iranian vessels with a couple of them being instantly retrofitted for submarine duty. Obama the strong leader comes to the bank of microphones and says what a tough decision he made to sink those rowboats, yadda yadda yadda. Cue MSM swoon.
