My gut. Of course the very existence of an execrable piece of legislation as the so-called 'Patriot Act' suggests that the federal leviathan has been engaging in widespread proctological snooping on the citizenry like never before.

Mildly worrisome if true. We still outnumber them more than 100-to-1. I like our odds.
