A seemingly harmless ad campaign has landed the popular soft drink in hot water with Christian fundamentalists who don't believe we came from apes The image: Dr Pepper found itself in the midst of a theological debate this week, when it posted an ad called "Evolution of Flavor" on its Facebook page (see the offending graphic below). The ad, which depicts an ape completing its evolution into man upon discovering a can of Dr Pepper, has angered Christians who don't believe in the theory posited by Charles Darwin 150 years ago

I say we attack some embassies. I'll give then a second chance - but if they make an ad showing a can of Dr. Pepper orbiting the sun, it's bombs away!

I believe Adam and Eve used to pick cans of Dr. Pepper off of trees<<
Now that's silly...Everybody knows Dr Pepper doesn't grow on trees!!....However, I think its documented at some liberal Christian think-tank that as the earliest recorded environmentalists they picked up empty cans beside the road and returned them to God for 5 cents each...

You can show restraint if you want to. I loaded up a vest with cans of RC Cola and shook it up real good. It’s now or never for me!

I’m not doing after church before I have me a heaping plate of Fried Chucken, Fried Okra, some hushpuppies and Corn on the cob(maybe two. Gotta cram all that in between my teeth. That usually agitates me)
Might have to take a nap after that. I usually wake up again around dinner.
Naw, Sunday’s not looking good for me....

I am a devout Catholic and I think it is pretty funny, but if we get to play cowboys and muslims over it I am all in.

Considering that I learned everything about evolution from Sister Anne Francis, I don’t see why Christians would have a problem with anything about evolution. The only arguments I ever get into are when I’m working out the stress by yanking the chains of majorly, self-important A-holes and blowhards who fail to see that they’re being put on.

Especially Coke when it came in those small green glass bottles that were 2 inches thick.

Muslims are creationists. Once they get the UN to agree to ban all speech they disagree with they will riot and protest against evolution as well.
