Bette Midler has added her voice to those choosing to point the finger of blame for the Sept. 11th death of four Americans anywhere but Libya, and certainly not the White House. Forget freedom of speech, forget due process — someone has to pay. Cher wants something to happen to Pastor Terry Jones, even though it’s not his film which supposedly incited the violence.

That being said, correct me please but didn't I see lots of bragging about "taking out bin Laden" on parade last week at the DNC Convention?
How come the President on down can brag about the U. S. killing bin Laden but some obscure person can make a movie condemning Islam (that most people in the U. S. had never, ever heard existed) has inflamed the entire Middle East, on 9/11?
Seriously, in most of the countries involved in this hoo-ha, were she to go there she would be murdered on the spot, if not for being an American, then for being Jewish.
It wouldn’t matter one whit what some pastor in the US did, or some cartoonist in Europe, or a drone strike just happened to kill a bunch of Taliban in Pakistan who used women and children as human shields.
These same vicious fanatics would kill her, and brutally, because that it who they are.
So if she still insists that it is this pastor’s fault, she can easily prove it by going to any of these countries, a week or a month after the riots have stopped, and if they are kind to her, if they don’t mind that she is an American and a Jew, she will have proven her point.
Otherwise, she is just another ignorant dumbass.
