The Obama administration is flatly denying a blaring British newspaper report that the U.S. diplomats in Libya were killed as a result of a “continuing security breach,” and that “credible information” about possible attacks had been ignored. A U.S. official told POLITICO: “There's no intelligence indicating that the attack in Benghazi was premeditated.”

Little did we know to what extent he would lie and how huge and devastating to the country those lies would be. The guy himself is one gigantic lie. I don’t think he is capable of uttering the truth because he has lied so much that he doesn’t know the difference between the two any more. All he cares about is saving his own skinny ass and to do that, he has to keep the big lie going.
So a bunch of goatherds angered over an internet video know the exact location of the ambassador's safe house. Somehow they arm themselves with rifles, RPGs and mortars with which they blast the building with accuracy and attack using infantry tactics.

There is a horrible video of the dead Ambassador at the “morgue”. I assume the other bodies there were of the other murdered souls. This should finish both Barry and the Billary, for good. Hopefully a REAL Congressional investigation and charges for both of them.
Byron York just intimated that the film was made in Egypt and almost suggested something I've been working out myself today-- that this "film" was a false flag from terrorists to rile up the illiterate foot soldiers. Mission accomplished.

according the Embassy’s own news, this Consulate was attacked by an IED in June, and a UK diplomat group attacked.
this is an outrage that the Consulate had such little security when these events happened only 3 months ago.

“U.S. citizens are advised that there was an armed attack on a UK diplomatic convoy in Benghazi on June 11. Two individuals sustained injuries. No one has claimed responsibility for the attack. This incident is a reminder of the fluid security situation in Libya and is the latest in a series of attacks in Benghazi against diplomatic and international installations, including the IED attack against the U.S. diplomatic compound in Benghazi on June 6. U.S. citizens in Libya are urged to exercise caution. “

Other candidates have been briefed IMMEDIATELY upon securing their parties nomination at the convention. Obama has Romney wait THREE weeks before the briefings start, co incindentally the time that includes 9-11. I smell a rat, a cover up, and probably impeachable offenses.

I wish I could say you were right. I have had long hours at work the last few days, but I am outraged at the network/print media coverage of these events.
What does Mitt Romney have to do with this situation? Romney’s statement was no different in principle than the statement Obama made about McCain and Bush on the day that we lost 9 soldiers during the 08 election.
The statement by the embassy in Cairo was crap and it does not recognize our 1st Amendment right. That was what Romney said and there was nothing wrong with it. This President’s apology tour and encouragement of the Arab Spring were foolish.
If this was President Bush the questions and talking heads would be repeatedly asking why the administration was not prepared on 9/11 (of all days) for these mobs, what did the administration know ahead of time, why did the administration not make sure that the host countries provided adequate security, and why did this happen after we supported the Arab Spring.
This administration is clueless and the media is completely in the tank. If the American people can’t see reality our nation as we know it is finished.
I wish I could be as optimistic as you that this is Obama’s Watergate. The media force field is strong and they are focused on one statement by Romney instead of actual attacks on our country. Amazing!

I’m with you. No way the attack using massive firepower was part of the “spontaneous mob anger”. These people riot and all the time and it’s not hard to get them fired up. I don’t recall many embassy protests with heavy firepower and RPG’s. If you wanted to attack an embassy what better cover than a mob after you made sure the host nation would not respond? What better date than 9/11?

Even if the host government had no idea (I believe they knew) the radicals win if the interim government responds and quells the riots because they are siding with “the Great Satan”.
The obvious does not seem to be considered by our media. I bet they were hoping that the Marine guards or others would turn their guns on the crowds. Had that happened, you would see massive crowds rioting today.
Instead of asking hard questions about these incidents they are focused on a statement by Mitt Romney?

They only stated that there was no warning of an attack on the embassy in Libya.
That’s not what the Independent stated. They said there was a warning of an attack at U.S. missions but the government did nothing to warn across the world or provide more protection.
The people quoted DON’T DENY THAT CLAIM, JUST SOMETHING THEY MAKE UP AS BEING WHAT THEY WANT THE ARTICLE’S CLAIM TO BE.....
