"... working for a private security company ..." no surprise that Hillary outsourced security rather than using the US Marines. After all, we know how much she loves the American serviceman and woman.

Prayers for Doherty's loved ones.

Near as I can figure, one SEAL is worth at least 1,000 or so Muslims.

And is ALWAYS worth more than the Obamadork.

When are we gonna get off our democrats and do something about this.

It’s time to start making those wishes for martyrdom come true.

Where were the Marine guards? Have these morons removed the best protection our diplomats could have? Well, second best, they already removed the first - the USA’s reputation as no pushover.

Prayers for his family. I can’t find out if the U.S. has these poor souls bodies or if the family will simply be notified of their passing. Very little has been told of the other three victims.

We are not getting the facts here. State is stonewalling behind the “won’t discuss security” deflection. This goes all the way up to the NSC in the White House.

I suspect something shady was going on by the Ambassador. Protocol would have required a detachment of Marines to provide security. I dunno what he was doing, I suspect he was favoring one faction over another instead of being the neutral party. A small force of marines would have prevented this. Throw in the non reporting on the number of dead Libyan security force and you have a mess of Obama proportions.

A senior administration official Wednesday called the Benghazi consulate “an interim facility,” which the State Department began using “before the fall of Qadhafi.” It was staffed Tuesday by Libyan and State Department security officers. The consulate came under fire from heavy machine guns and rocket-propelled grenades at about 10 p.m. local time on Tuesday. By the time the attack ended several hours later, four Americans were dead and three others had been injured.

The Benghazi consulate had “lock-and-key” security, not the same level of defenses as a formal embassy, an intelligence source told POLITICO. That means it had no bulletproof glass, reinforced doors or other features common to embassies. The intelligence source contrasted it with the American embassy in Cairo, Egypt – “a permanent facility, which is a lot easier to defend.” The Cairo embassy also was attacked Tuesday.

How many Americans have to die to protect Hillary Clinton and her incompetence?

The Marines are guarding the Embassy in Tripoli, which is the capitol of Libya. Benghazi was always the ‘second’ city of Libya and thus we had no offices there until Ghaddafi was overthrown.

We rented a series of buildings for our ‘consulate’ which were neither designed nor constructed OR RETROFITTED after we moved in to be secure from attacks like this. No walls or fences to keep the bad guys out, no blast proof walls or bulletproof windows to protect our staff.

In short, Hillary and the State Dept. sent the Ambassador into Libya and Benghazi without either a secure place to house him, or the required US MILITARY forces to protect him.

The scandal here is breathtaking, and all the media, including Fox News is doing a terrible job of reporting the facts behind this heinous attack.

Insightful. Being a known pushover invites bullies to the party. It's gonna get worse.

Agreed. What has not been twisted or botched in Libya?

It was not a problem to us before “We came, we saw, we killed him! teeheeheehee!”. What a train wreck, once again making carter look smooth.

“How many Americans have to die to protect Hillary Clinton and her incompetence?”

As many as it takes.

If he was a FORMER Seal (retired so to speak), could he have been employed by some private security establishment?

This infuriates me! How long will we protect the people who hate us?? We need to put Hilary on the front line of these protests and attacks and see how she does!

A small force of marines would have prevented this.

A rule of thumb:To overtake an enemy you need the next step up the hierarchical structure.

Example:To overtake a squad you need a company or greater.

From the photos it appears the enemy had ample manpower.
