Egypt is now FIRMLY in the enemy camp. Have no doubt about that.

This is just flippin' unbelievable. Every 9/11 I was in Iraq we operated under a heightened state of awareness.
The first observation any American makes getting off the plane in Kuwait is the realization that THEY DON'T LIKE US VERY MUCH.
... and they never will. Obie and Hill played for fools and now comes the payback. Idiots.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yr7odFUARg Who did you want answering that phone at 3 AM?
BTW I didn't want any Democrats or Democrat wannabees doing that ~ so it was a real problem in 2008.
Still it was a good question

The consulate didn’t need protection from the US Marines, it needed protection from the godless muslims.

Whether Tripoli, Cairo or Bengazi.,, I have been wondering all day “where were the devil dogs” ?
My only conclusion is that they were ordered to stand down OR were scaled back as part of our touchy feely Arab spring response.
No self respecting Marine (IMHO) would have been over run unless ordered to do so. (I know, that doesnt make sense either)

Can anyone tell me how the murderers knew that the Ambassador was in the Benghazi Consulate instead of at the Embassy in Tripoli?
Security seems to have been extremely lax.

"Sacked Benghazi Consulate Had No Protection From US Marines"Darn idiot fifth grade "journalism" quality.
I never needed protection from US Marines, either, I was protected by 'em.

The saddest part of this is the fact that Kadaffi wouldn’t have allowed this to happen despite being a piece of crap.
At least he was a fearful piece of crap who was more afraid of us than his own people.

“How could this have been allowed to happen?”
How do we know this isn’t Obama’s October surprise? Rest assured he will be stomping Arab ass from now till November. This is his road to reelection. USA, USA, USA!

IMO, no foreign nationals can be trusted. My first year in Tikrit, every time our IT chief went outside the wire, she got hit. Coincidence? Don't think so.

>> whom the American civilians were relying in the absence of US Marines.
I understand a US General disciplined Citizen Terry Jones earlier today. A diversion?

And some officials of Libya’s current practically non-existent government were saying the attack was carried out by former members of Muammar Gaddafi’s former regime. Bullshit—it clearly was an al-Qaeda (likely under Muslim Brotherhood sponsorship/protection) operation.
To: Kaslin
It is a consulate not an embassy. Few consulates have marines assigned.
