Is this an unprecendented attempt by America’s senior military officer to intimidate a private citizen?
If so, the general should RESIGN.

So happy the Chairman of the JCS has every strategic tool at his hands, including speed dial to Pastor Terry Jones
Why not just send the Marines to round him up?
If only they werent provoked, muslims would de be such peace loving world citizens
Insults to mohammed are understandably capital offenses calling for mob murder, so if we stop insults to mohammed we stop mob murders
DISGUSTING

General Martin Dempsey, the chairman of the U.S. military's Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke with Pastor Terry Jones by phone on Wednesday and asked him to withdraw his support for a film whose portrayal of the Prophet Mohammad has sparked violent protests On the taxpayers' dime? On what authority? Isn't Pastor Jones the General's boss?
If the fate of the US Army and the Republic it serves depends on the expressed opinions of private citizen Pastor Terry Jones, the fault for this perilous state of affairs is not that of Jones, but of the General and his President.

This is by far the WORST thing to happen under 0bama’s watch. General Dempsey is essentially SURRENDERING TO TERRORISTS. HE SHOULD BE DEFENDING US AND FIGHTING THEM!
To: kristinn
Are we sure which “film”, video, whatever it is that the muslims are inflamed over? I thought it was the other one that has the really bad actors in it making fun of mohammed.

Dempsey must be auditioning for the future head of Obama’s domestic militia which will oppress Americans and shred the Constitution.

Perhaps ? General Martin Dempsey has not gotten the memo ?
These attacks on the US embassies were coordinated and " Pre-Planned " in advance before that movie came out.
Of course ? this is the narrative that this administration, the government, the main stream media wants the uninformed and sheepled to believe and think.
This just gives them a excuse to go after Terry Jones and Christians in general. i.e. religious persecution.

"In the brief call, Gen. Dempsey expressed his concerns over the nature of the film, the tensions it will inflame and the violence it will cause," Dempsey's spokesman, Colonel Dave Lapan, told Reuters. "The violence it will cause"?? A film cannot "cause" violence. An individual supporting said film cannot "cause" violence. What causes violence are THE MURDEROUS MUZZIE B*ST*RDS CAUSING THE VIOLENCE!!

"In the brief call, Gen. Sickening.
