This is worse. Carter had hostages to be concerned about and, whether or not we agreed, chose not to put them at risk. Here there was a murder.

Carter put those hostages at risk when he stabbed the Shah of Iran in the back and called the Assahollah Khomeini 'a godly man', precipitating the seizure of Iran by Islamic terrorists.
Re-read that history FRiend, and you'll discover that's the truth.

Carter had his own murdered ambassador to worry about. Its like we’ve been put in a time machine. That last time a US Ambassador was murdered was, you guessed it, 1979.
In........Afghanistan.
By.....Afghan commandos, who were ‘resuing’ him
from....a guy in a police uniform.

Also, at least President Carter tried to get them out. The mission failed but at least he gave it a try. The Bamster makes the Carter Administration look like a bastion of success in comparison. Carter may be a moonbat now but I think deep down inside when he sits in his chair at night fires up the old Zenith, he says, "thank God the heat is off of me for having the worse Administration in the last 60 years."
