It’s funny how in 24 hrs the election is ‘suddenly over’. Our side really needs to get a back bone. Your example is well taken. I’ll add, EVERY SINGLE election with a ‘surprise’ outcome, whether it’s candidates or issues, ALWAYS ends up advantage republican or conservative. You never hear about a surprise Dem win...unless there’s a strong third party candidate in the mix.

I have NO doubt that when dawn breaks the morning after the election, Tingles Matthews will be swinging from a rope and the mainstream media is going to be scratching their collective heads trying to figure out how Romney could have possibly rolled over Obama like this. Mark my words.

I agree, this is all about Obama getting ZERO bounce from his Convention. This is all orchestrated by the Dems(Who have already sued Gallop for releasing a poll favoring Romney) the Dems dont have the enthusiasm that the Republicans have so they are trying to level the playing field. They are hoping that just like in 2008, many Republicans will just stay home because they think the election is over. The election is NOT over, just you watch. By the end of October these same pollsters will start releasing polls showing Romney with a 5 point lead, just so that these pollsters can save face and not look like complete morons

I remember after the 1984 San Francisco convention which nominated Mondull to go up against the Gipper. On the following Friday on Washington Week in Review, Charlie McDowell who was a Democrat partisan despite his cornball appearance was through the roof enthusiastic about how fired up the Democrats were. I sure wish somebody could dig up the video of McDowell acting so happy about the Democrat chances back then. Quite amusing.
