Just putting some much needed perspective on the worries about the polls. Most of them WON'T get real until a couple of days before the November election when their reputations are on the line. Right now many are designed to cause defeatism among conservatives. So keep this Wisconsin poll in mind for the proper perspective.

Oh, in case some don’t remember, Walker WON by 7 points.

It does seem that polling companies almost invariably either (a) put the Democrat ahead of the Republican, or (b) declare the race to be a dead heat.

If the polling results were reliable indicators of election outcomes, Democrats would outnumber Republicans in elected positions by about 9 to 1.

I don’t know why this is, other than wishful thinking on the part of the pollsters.

Remember that when you hear the next BS poll or attempt by the MSM to smear Romney or tell us Obama is way ahead.

And what was it - three days ago? that someone posted a thread here on FR saying that Romney was abandoning Wisconsin because he couldn’t win...

It has to ne remembered that the left wins by subverting and infiltrating organizations. They have done this with reporting, colleges, the government bureaucracies, etc. So why should polling organizations not fall i.to this pattern?

Thanks for posting this. My thoughts exactly, remember the recall election? They were shocked that they lost. They thought all along they we going to win. This election is far from over.

Just a note on that election. It was a special statewide recall election, so the pollsters really had a devil of a time predicting turnout.

The most motivated voters were the anti-Walker people. However, plenty of pro-Walker people were more than motivated enough to vote, and there obviously were more of them.

OTOH, the press releases and ads from both sides made it clear to those who were paying attention that the internal polls on both sides favored Walker.

Vice President Joe Biden and Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan plan campaign stops in Wisconsin this week, another sign of the increasing importance being placed on the state and its 10 electoral votes.

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney on Sunday began running his first ads in the state, a move designed to either help win Wisconsin or force President Barack Obama to spend more time and money there.
