Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., suggested that images of the Democratic National Convention booing at the addition of the word “God” to the party platform could haunt the presidential election in swing states.
“I think images are worth a thousand words and I think one of the bad images that they have to overcome is images of everybody booing God,” Paul said on CBS today when asked about Obama’s apparently-favorable path to reelection. “And that didn’t look so good, you know, when ‘God’ was in the platform, out of the platform — and then when they were putting ‘God’ back in the platform they had three votes and there was a lot of booing going on.”[SNIP]
When CBS’s Norah O’Donnell asked if it would decide the election in those swing states, Paul suggested it was possible.
“It’s just funny, you don’t know what people make their decision on,” he said, conceding that it’s not a very “substantive” issue for this year. “Just the images of people really yelling and booing over putting God back in the platform — I think it’s a difficult image for them to overcome.”

My mother who only watches network news had not heard anything about the vote and the booing. I had to sent her a youtube clip, (which she will not watch).
I got her a 'puter, set her up with internet, and showed her how to pay her bills on line. She still won't hit the sites I have hyperlinked for her.
It just doesn’t look like Romney is going to take advantage of the vote against God. I think that Romney is afraid that any mention of God is going to bring criticism of Mormons as a response.

Yep, the PACS are going to have to do it, and they had better do it fast. It needs to tie the vote against God given abilities to God given rights of man, not to the Bible or atheism or anything else. It connection between God given abilities and God given rights needs to be the focus.
Honesty is good, so why do you try to divert the discussion to process over content.
I doubt God made any difference to these clown, since most of them don't accept that there is a God, other than Gaia. Reasserting Jerusalem, as the capital of Israel was probably the bigger complaint.

People can split hairs any way they want. The DNC was a freak show that purposefully removed God as well focused in on abortion and gay marriage. It mocked God. Period.

This is all we talked about in Sunday School yesterday. If we cannot gain traction with the voters when the other party is blaspheming and taunting God, then what can we do? You might be right about Mormonism. Because they worship a plethora of strange gods, they are too ashamed to bring up the One and only true Triune God in defense. Remember for the 1st time in history we are either going to have a marxist who gives lip service to a Christian God or a heretic who will be praying to a demonic apparition. I must follow the logic that says it is better to vote for the heathen that espouses Christian values than the so-called christian who holds to no values but narcissism and class envy.
