The Democratic National Convention, reeling from today’s chaotic fiasco surrounding the reinsertion of pro-Israel, pro-God language into the party platform, has announced that President Obama personally intervened to ensure that that language was revived. But Politico is now reporting that President Obama approved the original, Jerusalem-less, Hamas-less language less than a fortnight ago. He didn’t try to change the platform “until after Republicans jumped on the omissions of God and Jerusalem late Wednesday.” And his own party was clearly against it – the people on the floor of the convention probably didn’t even vote in majority numbers for the reinsertion of pro-Israel, pro-God language. They booed Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, the DNC chairman, off the stage after he rammed through the measure on the third vote.

And Barack Obama’s desperate last-minute attempt to fix his own anti-Israel mistake by running roughshod over his delegates is simply shameful.

Exactly. Like all were saying they couldn’t figure the reasoning behind taking them out. I knew immediately. O did not recognize Jerusalem sometime last year combined with his anger at BiBi and his attack on Chritianity I would guess he demanded those changes against some protest. He just does the evil thing because he wants to and can.

For a socialist (read liberal) the word God or Jerusalem has the same effect as showing a braid of garlic or the Crucifix to Count Dracula. In other words it causes them severe indigestion. Judaism or Christianity never provided a good mix with socialism. Dictators such as Stalin, Hitler ect. realized this long time ago and our current leader is no exception. Unfortunately for him, this still happens to be a Christian nation, so in the last minute he decides he needs the Christian vote, and getting rid of GOD and JERUSALEM can wait until he is re-elected. I for one go for GOD and JERUSALEM and get rid of who ever is against it, as in the long run they always have and will be the losers.
