I loved how he started to say that it passed - assuming, of course that it would. Then he just made matters worse. Every "no" vote became more vocal.

Is someone going to call them on the fact that the vote DIDN'T pass?!?!? It falls right into our side's impression that they rule by executive order and deem things passed. I guess the payoff wasn't big enough. The delegates should have talked to Mary Landrieu and Ben Nelson about how to hold out your vote for the most cash.

El alcalde didn’t know what to do after the first vote.

You mean after the THIRD VOTE.

First was vote to (ignore our earlier stupidity and change our 'platform'...again).

Second vote was on putting GOD and ISRAEL back on the platform. When it failed, El alcalde said (never seen this happen in official procedure), "Let's do it again." (gee, the DEMS always do that when they lose a vote)

The Third time was even worse than the first, and El alcalde didn't know what else to do but just DECLARE the YEA'S the winner, as per planned in 'chambers'.

The last vote seemed to be in favor of overriding the amendments. The nays were louder, IMO.
