Excellent answer, but aren’t we overlooking another point? This imbecile doesn’t even understand the conversation. Being poor is not taking a risk. It is simply the state of having little money. The risk-taking the panel is discussing is when individuals may risk being poor by betting their life savings or going deeply in debt in order to bring a product or service to market. They could remain comfortably in their economic circumstances, live off government largesse and avoid any risk that they may improve their lot or the lot and lives of their fellow citizens. Instead they take a supreme risk of financial ruin to make things better. Sitting on your @ss taking handouts is not a risk at all.
