That's a good point. This country is flat-out broke, and we simply don't have the werewithal for any more silly military campaigns in the Middle East. The war in Afghanistan has now dragged on longer than the American Civil War and the U.S. involvement in both World Wars ... that's all three of them combined, mind you.

How easily we conservatives forget that the GOP losses in 2006 and 2008 were largely attributable to the fact that voters were already sick of this sh!t way back then.

that language is simply unacceptable. Think about what this world would look like today had they not been fought. The bombings on the streets in Baghdad would be on American streets instead. Taliban and AQ would be huge and laying siege throughout the US and Europe. Take off the blinders and think. And remember the Armed Forces who have given their all to keep a lid on those miserable terrorists who seek your death - and mine.

And the Democrat's losses in 2010 were based on pulling troops out of Iraq ?
