She’s in her late fifties so she has seen communism up close and personal. As I said, she is actually quite well-educated, but her English is so bad she could never hope to do what she did before she came here. I doubt she reads anything much in English. She is absolutely not a liberal—has complete contempt for anyone who doesn’t work as hard as she does. Exactly the kind of immigrant we need. Lots of guts. But she just sees smiling media pictures of Obama and doesn’t realize he’s a commie too.
My point is, I bet there are a lot of people like that, people who are voting for Obama because they aren’t informed. If the nation is going down into the septic tank, it’s Bush’s fault, surely.
If she’s an educated person, it would be good if she could find a conservative group of people who share her heritage and speak her language, and can set her straight. It’s too bad that she’s influenced by (biased) American media. I suppose in her home country the communists didn’t smile as much and didn’t make appearances on Dancing with the Stars.
