Watching Clint Eastwood's speech (albeit a little late) and oh my god. Who gave the neighborhood grandpa with dementia a microphone? Hannah Greenberg (@hannahgre) August 31, 2012
When 82-year-old veteran actor/producer Clint Eastwood announced his endorsement of Mitt Romney earlier this month, tolerant liberals could think of only one good reason a Hollywood legend would choose a Republican over Planet Healer and Tinseltown money-grubber Barack Obama:
Dementia.
The disrespectful armchair geriatricians are back. After his memorable, crotchety, completely ad-libbed convention speech tonight, senior citizen-bashers took to Twitter to deride Eastwoods state of mind:
I didn't expect the RNC to televise Clint Eastwood's descent into dementia. Sabine Mariano (@TweetEverstrong) August 31, 2012Clint Eastwood was disrespectful to the Office of the President to say the least. I'm assuming thats the dementia kicking in #RNC Liki (@likiwright) August 31, 2012
There is a drunk, homeless man with dementia doing an AMAZING Clint Eastwood impersonation right now!! #RNC James Mount (@SermonOTheMount) August 31, 2012

Covenantor: Of course, most of the probably don't even know who Jimmy Stewart WAS, much less the fact both Obama and Harvey are imaginary beings.
BINGO! Game, set, match Mr. Eastwood!
RNC, please make a 30-second advertisement with Jimmy Stewart morphing into Clint. The poses are almost identical.
Clint's given you the perfect raw material from which to work, and the storyboard for the advertisement writes itself Jimmy talking to an imaginary rabbit; Clint talking to an imaginary President.
That is a great line he had there....wonder how they are going to find hate in it....
