Clint did a great job! Libs hate to hear the truth from anyone no matter their age!

When the office of the president deserves respect again, we’ll show it.

Folks, all you have to know about this speech is that the Libs HATED it --- it was enormously effective.

It marginalized and minimized a president already described as "faded" by Paul Ryan, and last night Clint made him invisible!!!

Don't kid yourselves, the subliminal imaging that has taken place here is substantial.

Oh really? So what is the excuse for these Obama supporters?

If he’d run a comb through that mop of hair it might have helped to dispel the image.

WE own this country, and when someone doesn't do the job "we have to let them go."

Clint did fine.

Nothing was scripted, unlike the Obama regime.

They are whining about it because Clint got to them.

Ridicule is the best weapon against these morons.

The ‘bit’ was good, but the execution left something to be desired. It’s too easy to chalk this up to dementia. Clint is still and active director/writer/actor so it isn’t likely. I think that the more likely explanation is either ‘technical problems’ (maybe he couldn’t hear himself) or inadequate rehearsal. Those are the risks you run when you try to have a ‘surprise/secret’ guest speaker.

Everybody in the hall had fun with it. And that’s pretty much the ballgame.

Has a new movie coming out very soon with Pam, from The Office. Think I’ll see it at the Multiplex.

So what?

If his speech was good (and it was), what does it matter if his mind is in 100% tip-top shape or not?

This is just another case of if you can’t attack the message, attack the messenger.

Precisely my analysis, too. He fouled off three straight pitches then hit a home run.

I have a relative with dementia. This wasn’t dementia. Eastwood was plain speaking. How many people talk in real life with a script?

Notice how all the tweets sound the same? No doubt, they were told what to post.

The left’s disrespect to Eastwood is going to backfire big time. Indys don’t like dragging the elderly through the mud.

this is what dementia looks like

Both my father and father-in-law suffered from dementia, and no, this is not what it looks like!

These people have no clue. No idea. They are just mean-spirited idiots who think they're being cool by making a funny about something that isn't really very funny at all.

And yes, this is their real feelings for the elderly placed on public view at last!

Indeed, they are more to be pitied that scorned. I feel sorry for them.

Still angry, but sorry.

CA....

Empty chair = empty suit. His schtick about Obama suggesting Clint, then Romney, perform an act on themselves gave voice to all the images of Obama's middle finger being used. Eastwood did to telling effect what the politicians by their nature can't do. Good for him.

My Dad passed a couple weeks ago. He was diagnosed with dementia. I know what it looks and sounds like. Mr. Eastwood (who is a year younger than my Dad) isn’t suffering from it!

It was a brilliant speech, well presented, and effective. THAT is what all the BS is really about!

The libs can only cast aspersions, call us names, insult us for not having any intelligence, etc. They can’t handle the truth ;-)

I too was a little uncomfortable when I saw the speech by Eastwood last night but I think it was because we tend to forget that actors age. To me Eastwood was the young raspy voiced actor in all those spaghetti westerns. But time marches on and we all get older, if we are lucky.

I watched the speech again this morning and wasn’t as obsessed by how he had aged. This time I listened to the words and gained a whole new perspective on what he was saying. It was brilliant.

Let the libs ridicule the elderly it will only come back to bite them in the bottom.
