This is the cheerleader Paul Ryan dated at college who helped forge his uncompromising opposition to racism.
The relationship and the backlash he suffered from his so-called friends were a formative experience in the political evolution of the Republican vice-presidential pick who described himself as a 'big, big fan' of Martin Luther King and is a staunch advocate of civil rights.
Today Mail Online reveals the woman whose romantic attachment led Ryan, who electrified the Republican convention in Tampa with his speech on Wednesday night, to experience racism first hand.
The Republican vice-presidential candidate dated Deneeta Pope, now 40 and a realtor living in Chicago, after they met at Miami University, Ohio in the early 1990s. Michael Steel, campaign spokesman for Ryan, today told MailOnline: 'Mr Ryan dated Ms Pope in college.'

Okay, she’s hot. I’ll keep an open mind. I still don’t think he wants to eliminate any departments or truly cut spending. But, I’ll listen.
That pic doesn’t do her justice. I think she is just stunning. She reminds me of a young Sophia Loren.
But they had absolutely no interest in tracking her down, identifying her, reporting the circumstances of their romance, or -- great merciful heavens -- publishing a picture.
I wonder why would that be...???
Doesn't fit the Republican template. If they don't show pictures then most people won't know it or remember it.
melts the paint off my car when I drive by her office
On the other hand, most black women would LOVE to have a white man as they view them as "nicer" than "their" black men. I was told this personally by MANY black women when I lived "in the community." Maybe politically incorrect but true. And black men DO NOT like "their" women dating white men despite today's open society.
To be fair, I'm sure that they tracked her down and investigated the story. But when the story didn't forward their agenda, they buried it. Ditto with Obama's "girl" friends. I don't think weed was the only thing Barry was smoking.
To contrast, look at the disgusting comments at the DUmp.

This is just one thread but most are pretty disgusting. Calling her “former black”, etc. They are the ones who need the big mirror to see the real racists.
“My Freshmen year of College I dated a black track-athlete goddess from Cameroon. Very Sweet.”
All my favorite cigars have Cameroon wrappers...there might be something in that country that needs investigating.
Must be the beef jerky.
Here's the photo of Ms. Composite.
Quite Cosmopolitan.

A nice, well written story about Mr. Ryan’s former girlfriend. Of course, we have to go to the Brits for this kind of stuff. America’s MSM wouldn’t touch it.
That photo never ceases to freak me out. Straight men NEVER sit on a sofa that close together. It’s obvious they like it that way, considering all the stuff piled up next to Hussein. It’s not like someone else was sitting there and got up for a minute before the pic was taken. They’re cozy.
The main reason I posted. Sheesh.

When I was growing up, I didn’t have a clue about racism. My godfather was black and I spent years in a neighborhood that never noticed color. I had friends from Samoa, Mexico, and Gypsies and black girls and boys. NONE of us had any animosity towards each other. It was a wonderful time and I don’t know why it ended.
Surely you know why -- you partially answered the question yourself when you said:
Maybe [it matters] with the older generation....most people in my age group today don't care.
Racial difference/disparity/"oppression" is one of the central philosophies of socialism (err, I mean the Democrat Party). If it isn't kept alive and well by being thrust into every facet of life, they know they will lose a huge chunk of support.
See? The American Melting pot, the only thing that mattered was our Culture, shaped from around the world into a single distinct way of life.
But then the race baiters came to divide us so they may exploit us.
I am in an "interracial" Marriage (wife is Palestinian), Hell I grew up in an Interfaith Marriage, so you race baiters who see power in Balkanzation of America, please go up in a lake and leave this nice woman and Paul Ryan ALONE!
