One of my favorite lines: "College graduates should not have to live out their 20s in their childhood bedrooms, staring up at fading Obama posters and wondering when they can move out and get going with life."

Yes, that was a great line.
He got better and stronger as he spoke.

Ryan gave a sincere, inspirational and powerful speech, clearly defining the central planners vs personal responsibility and freedom.

Ryan speech made the crew at the MSNBC desk anxious and angry. In a post Ryan speech interview, Scott Walker kept his cool and reminded Sgt. Schultz that Obama was the one who promised to keep the Janesville Wisconsin GM plant open. Scott Walker is cool as a cucumber while under fire from the odd folks at the MSNBC desk! Outstanding!

Ryan must be into hard rock—he said that his play list ranges “from ACDC to Zeppelin.”

THAT is a first class zinger. Ryan has learned to put a lot of emotion into his speeches without a loss of precision. Love the way he was talking over the applause and keeping it going that way. You know, tonight as he stood there he reminded me of Jack Kennedy at the 1956 Democratic convention. That was when Kennedy was as think as Ryan if not as fit. I even heard some of the same cadences. That was when the Harvard accent dropped away and I heard the Irish come out.

Ryan passed the test with flying colors. He gave a well-paced, articulate speech. It touched all the right chords and was delivered like a pro. He is a man to be taken seriously.

Loved his speech! Really took obama to task! One thing i noticed was that he kept clearing his throat, which was kinda distracting. Anyone else notice that? I'm sure its nerve-wracking as hell being up there tho.

Ryan was magnificent. Not since Ronald Reagan have we seen a speech like that one.

A Midwestern middle class guy speaking to the middle class which was hurting before Barry took office, but is really hurting now.

The right message from a credible messenger who appears to be fairly honest and can be trusted which is saying something for anyone of either party who has spent more than a decade in the know-nothing, do-nothing legislative branch in D C.

Mittens speaks tommorrow what will be his message? Who will he be speaking to? Ryan can credibly attack Obamacare and can be trusted when he says that he wants to abolish it.

Mittens will have trouble connecting with the middle class on the repeal of Obamacare when his term as a blue state governor of the bluest state in the union was defined by Obamacare when Barry was just a typical Cook County machine politician learning how to game the social welfare state to gain political power and win elections.

I like this one too, and I may be slightly paraphrasing: Obama put his promises on the record and now he says that’s his record.

Now all that’s left is a presidency adrift, surviving on slogans that already seem tired, grasping at a moment that has already passed, like a ship trying to sail on yesterday’s wind.

I liked this one..
