Is there still going to be a surprise speaker tomorrow?Any "surprise" speaker would be anti-climatic after tonight. Hope they have some good speakers lined up. Governor Romney is a given of course.

I thought Sarah Palin's VP acceptance speech would never be overshadowed. I was wrong.
My thoughts exactly as I listened tonight. Sarah's message was right, but Ryan is the right messenger.

I loved both nights...feeling very happy tonight. :) Same here but I'm going to end my evening by praying for those poor people in Hurricane Isaac's path.

MSNBC has gotten so bad they are now a parody of a news station. It like watching a Saturday Night Live skit.

My (college/high school aged) kids were glued to Ryan’s speech. They laughed at the music playlist jokes.

“Romney has the trait of all successful leaders. Build a good team around you. The better Ryan does the better he looks.”
You hit the nail on the head and that why Mitt has been successful in business.

Palin did hit Obama hard with her speech but, it was big on insults with little on substance. I like Sarah a lot, but her speech in 2008 wasn’t as intelligent or genuine as Ryan’s speech tonight, and Ryan comes across as a little more serious. Whats the word we all love to hate? Gravitas.
I know Sarah is a rockstar in this place but that’s my opinion. *runs for cover*
