I don’t like the new RealTime map! boooo hoooo.
I am on a earthquake forum and complained bitterly when they told us they were changing away from our old maps.
I don’t think the round “ quakes” are as easy to read.

Any locals able to swing by the Wister Mudpots to see if there’s been any change after the swarm?

Cool little pic with all the players involved outlined.

It is considered a spreading trough not unlike a rift in the ocean....with ample availability to the mantle.

Ohio isn’t exactly what I would call a bastion of “conservatism” either.

Went for 0bama and gave us weepy Boehner.

Good job Ohio!

The “joke” has worn quite thin...excuse me for not “getting it” when a FReeper comes on board and says he’s “praying” for my destruction.

Yes I saw Lowell's rude post but I just haven't seen all the other insults you say you have endured, you poor boy.

I don't hate California and I don't hate any other state. The people of the NW think that they live in the center of the universe, the rest of us know that they don't and we wouldn't trade places with them for anything. But we don't hate them.

BTW we are BBQing in shorts in Jan and we have flowers blooming in Dec. Texas summers are not the best for me but I know folks who love them.

I truly do not hate California and want to apologize for those rude folks who do. My husband has relatives in CA and they are hippies who have grown older but haven't gotten any smarter. They are flaming liberals and I am sooooo glad they live in your state not ours.

I don't hate California

I never suggested you did.

I was just telling you this is nothing new and we understand all the motives, which go far beyond politics.

BTW, there is a big difference between a simple rude post and someone publicly stating they are, "Praying" for the death and destruction of Americans through natural disasters.

It would be like me saying, "I hope everyone in Texas gets infected with West Nile virus and dies a brutal death, or pray for a massive hurricane to blow Houston into Austin, just because you happen to have some liberals there."

I'm confident you're starting to get it.

The plain old list is easier to eyeball. (for me)

Agree completely.

For me to “get it” I am going to have to start seeing a rash of posters hating CA. So far I have seen one.

But I feel sure I will continue to see you poke Texas with a pointy stick.

Yeah, lets act like that's never happened.

Something odd is going on again.

Note the lead in tremor going on before the Main quake in the Bay in mexico that just happened.

Black line UTC ending at 23:15

The same thing on 22:30 leading into a small quake in the swarm, albeit in a smaller scale.

Earthquake that are solely tectonic do not give warnings like that.

Honestly I have no idea. What I do know is that webicorder recordance of normal quakes whether they are thrust or strike slip there is no signal of before the P/wave arives.
