“AMERICA IS BETTER THEN BIRTHERISM” (The Barfy Wisdom of Liberalism)
Daily Caller ^ | August 25, 2012 | Jim Treacher

Posted on 08/26/2012 11:50:34 AM PDT by lbryce

That’s the message in the skies above today’s Romney/Ryan rally in Powell, Oiho Ohio. Courtesy of Jan Crawford at CBS News, here’s a banner ad that’s being flown overhead:

Yep. “Better then.” That’s what it says.

Maeve Reston at the LA Times says MoveOn.org is responsible for this. That makes sense, because they’re super-smart.

Speaking of words that people don’t know how to use, I’ve been informed by my old pal Dave Weigel (@daveweigel) that I’m a “birther.” The reason I’m a “birther” is that I think Obama was born in Hawaii. I’m also a “birther” because when Obama wants me to believe he went over 15 years without reading his own literary bio that falsely claimed he was born elsewhere, I get a little skeptical.

Thinking that Obama had anything to do with this, or even knew about it, is a “conspiracy theory.” According to Weigel, anyway. Yeah, what sort of unbridled narcissist would read his own literary bio? Not Obama, that’s for sure…

“Birther” means whatever it needs to mean at the moment a liberal uses it. People who think Obama wasn’t born in Hawaii are “birthers.” People who think Obama was born in Hawaii, and who wonder why he used to claim otherwise, are also “birthers.” The word has been rendered meaningless. Now it’s just an epithet to throw out when you don’t feel like thinking.

But hey, at least MoveOn spelled it right!

P.S. Romney, back in April: “I believe the president was born in the United States.” HOW DARE HE JOKE ABOUT IT???

For years I've preferred calling 'em moron.org. I guess we're lucky dailycuss didn't show one of their messages.

mediasmatters.. well I guess those dabblers would have just had a message containing obscene names -- that's about as far into issues they go.

a pdf on a webpage is a FAR cry from being officially submitted to a federal agency as true and accurate

some person puts a pdf on a webpage gives 0bama cover ... deniability ... it’s just an artist representation... not a true document and would not be held up as official... therefore could not be tested whether or not its a forgery

therefore... DEMAND 0bama submit his documents OFFICIALLY

of course, if submitting federal documents via jpeg is acceptable... i’ll gladly submit my tax payments in similar fashion

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

There is no constitutional requirement for anyone to believe a person is a natural born citizen if he refuses to provide this simple documents.

It’s a matter which is the cause and which is the effect. I was worried that someone would call me on the grammatical error in my version (use of wrong tense). I’d have put in a disclaimer; but “brevity is the sole of wit” and all that. (Or is that soul?)

Quite true.

However, a majority of the American people voted for the guy.

nothing specific, obviously... but you still must provide proof via the standard accepted documentation at the time

which, in this case would be a birth certificate. the BC gives us location of birth as well as age. parentage proving natural born status must also be provided, otherwise the individual could have foreign allegiances by birth, which the founders were looking to avoid.

When the Marxist Progressives get frustrated it used to be, "You're a HATER! You're a BULLY!". Now it's, "You're a BIRTHER!"

Sitting here laughing!

Look what I found in my current copy of Funk and Wagnall's:

birtherism (bur' ther iz'em) n. 1. theory of derogatory tactics advanced chiefly by opponents of Barack Obama, advocating public discussion defining the birth location of the current resident of the White House based on the legal description of the President of the United States according to the United States Constitution. 2. also, any tactic designed to waylay the discussion will not work because at least 2/3rds of the American public are not idiots.

The Constitution includes no requirement that specific documents be provided to prove eligibility.

It does provide that voting requirements will be determined by the states. It's a little late to be concerned about now, because I doubt any states will change their laws before the election. But for future elections it could be done on a state-by-state basis.

The Constitution has no requirements as to documentation. This is no doubt because the Founders assumed the Electoral College would actually function as intended, and any proof of eligibility would be demanded by them.

In actual fact, of course, the EC never functioned as intended, except in its first two meetings.

We have had almost four years now since the last election. We have 50 states. Any one of those states could have passed a law spelling out required documentation to be on its ballot. None have.

To me that indicates quite clearly that we aren’t really serious about the issue.

if we aren’t going to uphold article 2 section 1... then the Constitution is in breach

if the Constitution is in breach... then all laws stemming from it are null and void

there is a reason millions of Americans expect the Constitution to be upheld

No, a forgery has been online. Two forgeries, in fact. One a Certification of Live Birth (short-form) and one a long-form Birth Certificate. Sheriff Arpaio’s posse has confirmed forensically that the long-form is a forgery. On my blog I show that the short-form also has to be a forgery.

But nobody has to take either my word or the word of Arpaio any more, because the HI state registrar has officially weighted in: Alvin Onaka recently sent out a letter of verification to AZ SOS Ken Bennett confirming that the long-form posted to the White House website is NOT a “true and accurate representation of the original record on file” AND that the record they have on file in Hawaii is not legally valid.

So we’ve got it straight from the horse’s mouth in Hawaii that Obama has no legally-valid birth certificate there and has been instead presenting forgeries to the public. That’s what is revealed in an official government document provided to AZ SOS Ken Bennett.

The legal presumption at this point has to be the presumption of regularity - that Onaka’s response to Bennett was in compliance with the law and truthful. There are no legally-established birth facts for Obama based on a Hawaii birth certificate. There is nobody in this country who can LAWFULLY say that Obama is even old enough to be President, much less meets the citizenship requirements. And there never WILL be anybody who can lawfully claim either thing unless and until Obama presents his non-valid HI BC to a judicial or administrative person or body so the probative (evidentiary) value of it can be determined. Right now it has no more legal value than if it was printed on toilet paper.

IOW, unless and until Obama and Hawaii cough up all the evidence regarding the HI record’s veracity for forensic analysis, it has to legally be presumed that he has NOT qualified to be President. The burden of proof has totally shifted as a result of Onaka’s revelation to Bennett.

That’s why Obama is so touchy about this. He knows the doo-doo is about to hit the fan, big-time.
