Look, this is not just a matter of not talking about it and thinking it will go away.

Todd Akin is a political dummy. Instead of talking about Obama and the economy he talks about rape (and stupidly at that). He messed up this time, and he’ll do it again. Get him out or you GIVE the seat to Claire. You want that??

Hojczyk, I heard that the RNC tried to contact him, but he’s been cut off by his family - which is running his campaign, BTW.

It’s the World Series of US politics here, this guy made an unforced error, and he refuses to admit it and let another, better, player take his place. He’s thinking only of himself, and not the team, at this point.

The problem is there is no replacement. Names have been floated in articles and on the radio but all either declined or have their hands full or bring their own set of baggage or see what the GOP did to Akin and want no part of that happening to them.

Furthermore the Democrats at this point are hoping that he would be forced out. They are set to run commercials against whoever would replace him as a stooge of the GOP party bosses in Washington who overturned a valid primary election against the wishes of the people of Missouri.

So which is worse???
