That's fine, and I would prefer Akin win, but the Republican Party HAS to verbally distance themselves from extremely toxic, scientifically wrong, mysogynistic comments like Akin's. Simple matter of self-preservation.
Now if Missouri Conservatives can stuff his incredibly stupid, damaging comments back into his mouth and tell him to STFU in the future about rape and abortion except for repeatedly apologizing for his 'magic womb' idiocy, more power to them.
