That's fine, and I would prefer Akin win, but the Republican Party HAS to verbally distance themselves from extremely toxic, scientifically wrong, mysogynistic comments like Akin's. Simple matter of self-preservation.

Now if Missouri Conservatives can stuff his incredibly stupid, damaging comments back into his mouth and tell him to STFU in the future about rape and abortion except for repeatedly apologizing for his 'magic womb' idiocy, more power to them.

No, they have to put it in the past now. Overkill if they don't.

"Akin apologized. I already stated how I feel about it. Time to move on. The real problem is Obama."

That's what should be stated from our side, or else it's overkill.

You needn’t worry so much. Even if Akin wins, there’ll be enough baby-hating pro-aborts in office to keep you happy.

The Republican Party isn’t going to do anything to stop the killing, so no need for you to think about switching to a third party.

SO... what you are saying (see how this works?) is that EVERY TIME a man has sex with a woman, it results in pregnancy ?
