Your boy Akin hung himsslf out to dry with his 'magic womb' drivel. He'll just have to find a way to walk that back. The chances don't look so good with McCaskill not having even started in on him yet, and now he's made himself into a barn door sized target for her campaign with his ignorant toxic anti-scientific misogynistic blithering.

I hope Akin is thoroughly happy with what he's done to his campaign and the GOP. Having made this terrible blunder, Akin ought to think about his Party and consider stepping down. If he doesn't step down, I would still prefer that he win, but he IS a moron, and I have huge doubts about his pulling it off considering his mental limitations and toxicity to the Republican Party. Most likely, Akin will catch a couple months of pure hell from McCaskill's campaign, get beaten at the election, and his supporters will be left wondering how they effed up.
