And it was pretty darn funny, too.
Now I love being home, in this place where Ann and I were raised, where both of us were born. Ann was born in Henry Ford Hospital, I was born in Harper Hospital. No ones ever asked to see my birth certificate. They know that this is the place where both of us were born and raised.
Now, everybody just hold on for a second. The Twitterverse and etcetera have been lighting up with speculations and accusations from all sides as to what Mitt Romney meant with this. No, birthers: I have the severest doubts that Mitt Romney was endorsing birtherism, nor that he plans to desperately take up the theory as part of his campaign platform as we wend our way to November. Its far too divisive an issue, and as much as the Left would no doubt like everyone to believe, its not like the majority of the conservative base is exactly jiggy with it.

Why? Because it stinks of wuss and fear. Not attractive. Part of Obama’s success is his playing the urbane villain to our weaselly milquetoasts. Enough!
So, you believe that Obama should get a pass in regard to Eligibility?
Had the issue been at the forefront in 2008, we never would have an Obama Presidency. Now, in 2012, you want to continue to give Obama a pass on the issue and continue to de facto “support” him?
Even with the attacks from Liberal GOP over the years, Obama has been forced to address the issue....spending $$ on legal fees and forging his birth certificates. Had he Liberal wing of the GOP supported “Birthers” instead of attacking them, we surely would not have much worry from a DNC candidate in 2012.

Many things can be said about Donald Trump, but one thing most people can't say is that he is boring.

Yes, just keep jabbing that needle. A prick here and a prick there and the public gets to know the gist of this whole issue through thinly veiled humor!
Romney did not get to be gov of a state by just being a nice guy. He has to slice and dice opponents to move up the ladder. I was hoping this is what would happen and it looks like it is proceeding apace. Obummer is pretty easy to slice and dice and after the fact the public is going to wonder why the hell this didn’t happen sooner.

Mitt's comment only shows that he may understand that that in spite of declaring himself to be a naturalized citizen, the media and both parties were afraid to face the reality of Obama’s ineligibility, since the framers and founders told us natural born citizenship was a requirement for presidency. The issue may come up during Mitt's presidency; he suggests that he won't lie or ignore it if somehow the court stops blocking discovery. It has nothing to do with birth certificates. Mitt knows the Constitution doesn't include definitions, and has probably at least heard of the thirty or so Supreme Court cases that confirmed the definition so clearly explained by Chief Justice Marshall in The Venus, “born on the soil to citizen parents”, or the precedent-making case written by Chief Justice Morrison Waite, Minor v. Happersett. Remember, Barack told us all he was a naturalized citizen, never once claiming to be a natural-born citizen. Without an amendment to the Constitution, or a court willing to repudiate precedent, and refute the understand repeated by Marshall, Waite, Hughes, Washington, Jay, Hamilton, Paine, Franklin, 14th Amendment Author John Bingham, and Wong Kim Ark justice Gray, Barack is not a legitimate officeholder.
Remember, every US senator signed the Clare McCaskill/Pat Leahy/Barack Obama Resolution 511, April 30 2008, which Senate Judiciary hearing, based upon the testimony of Judge Michael Chertoff, and Barack’s Constitutional Law professor Larry Tribe: My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen, Chertoff replied. That is mine, too, said Leahy. Barack, the global citizen, and naturalized citizen, "A native-born citizen of the US", meaning naturalized and not natural born, was born to an alien father, in direct contravention of The Constitution.

I thought it was a great comment
Me too.
Imagine old Soetoro must be getting nervous if he thinks Romney might go after him on matters of his birth and other areas of his life which he does not wish to discuss with the plebs.
To: Ouderkirk
Why is this such a sensitive subject for the Obamunuists?
ImporTANT thing is whether hix parents were US citizens.Obama birth certivicate would show that his father was not uS citizen so obama is not natural born citizen and so not eligible to be president. Obama is trying to distract from this question by directing us to question of his place of birth.

Well thank you very much, I needed that, I need a blessing.
May God bless you, your family and enrich you.
May God bless and protect Israel, and keep the peace of Jerusalem.

I have a Utah birth certificate as do my Father and Grandfather, something Mitts Father can’t claim.
To: Tallguy
I just laugh in their face and tell the liberals that “he’s a fake”.
They get all bent out of shape and start with the birther claim.
I respond that HE is a fake, never said anything about a birth certificate!
Then they go ballistic.
“he has no bonifides!”
That puts them in orbit.
Them I follow up with:
“he’s a fake”
Office arguments are the best!!!!!!

While that maybe true that nothing shocks the populace anymore, the paradigm shift can always shift in the other direction like a pendulum.
Who says that God through his holy spirit can't bring in a new revival for this country ? or the world ?
Yes, we are living in the last days, but, there maybe a last great revival in this country and the world.
There are vast amounts of people and countries that have not heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

jiggy |ˈjigē| adjective 1 uninhibited, esp. in a sexual manner: 2 trembling or nervous, esp. as the result of drug withdrawal. ....... Hmmm, I've never used that word and I don't know that I have ever heard of it before today. The sound of the word makes me think of Gilligan, but I don't know why he would have used it. I am going text my wife and tell her that I am feeling jiggy and ask her to try to come home early. My goodness, what a cool word, I don't think I've ever felt this jiggy.

" I should warn Romney one more birther joke and I will send him a check. "
I think many people would send Romney a check just for the shear spectickle and entertainment to see the MSM, Liberals and Obama's people feathers get all ruffled up and watching them get all bend out of shape.

The louder the yell, the closer to the target you are! The joke hit a raw nerve! The folks are losing confidence in the Joker in Chief.

Good for Romney. The MSM might treat Obama like he’s some kind of God, but the rest of us need to be real. He’s not a God and either are any of the other democrat liars...

That’s right. The flames following this funny comment show exactly how deep the arrow went and how on-target it was. And? Is this, too, ‘racist’?
