I am stunned as to how Huckabee and Shafly have turned this into some sort of Christian victimization of Akin by Rove or GOPe.

Akin’s use of the phrase “legitimate rape” was bizarre and offensive, borderline misogynist.

Our ire at Akin has nothing to do with his prolife/Christian/Family Values, EVERYTHING TO DO WITH HIS LACK OF WISDOM.

I will not be bullied by these Christian groups with a chip on their shoulder to reframe the argument that Akin’s problem is the GOPe.

Akin’s problem is his thought processes are bizarre and have nothing to do with Christ or Christianity.

But I’ll say one thing. Akin is a sign to me to turn away entirely from this election because it is a sign and symbol that Obama can win.

Just remember, Obama is not the problem, he is the symptom. God judges the Church first. WE have failed. I have failed. God have mercy.

“Akin’s use of the phrase “legitimate rape” was bizarre and offensive, borderline misogynist.”

There are people here who do not want to face this very pertinent fact. They would rather change the subject to a prolife vs pro abortion argument.

Face it folks, Akin is a dead man walking

Webster has about five definition for legitimate. One is actual. In that context he would be talking violent as opposed to statutory.
how do u defend Romney’s support of gay boy scout organization?

So called “offensive” to who else besides the pro-abortion Wiloloard who uses “legitimate rape” as an excuse for murdering the resulting baby and didnt want anyone to be able to disqualify it...

Akin didnt “offend” me...

The ugly mouth of Willard was the one who was offensive...

Abortion-on-demand Willard wants to set the pro-life movement back...

He wants to squash it if he can...

He doesnt want any pro-life opposition in the US Senate for his pro-abortion agenda...

Willard founsd the perfect excuse to sideline a strong pro-life Senator and he jumped in with both liberal feet...

This bruhaha was caused by Williard and his Giddy Ship of Fools the LolliGOP...

Get a dictionary and look up the word “legitimate” - there is more than one meaning for the word. Better yet - go back to school and learn to read in CONTEXT. It’s obvious you haven’t the skills to read - and probably not the skill to vote either. Anyone who is offended by the phrase “legitimate rape” should not be participating in this election.

To spell it out for you, Akin was referring to a REAL or ACTUAL (legitimate) rape vs. a falsely reported rape in order to get an abortion.
